The New Orleans Pelicans and Anthony Davis, on the first day possible, have agreed to terms on a mammoth contract extension that should become the league's richest when it goes into effect, according to league sources.

Sources told that the Pelicans and Davis have agreed to a five-year extension estimated at nearly $145 million that will kick in starting with the 2016-17 season and run through Davis' 28th birthday.

First-round picks from the 2012 NBA draft like Davis are eligible to negotiate contract extensions now through Oct. 31. But like any free-agent deal around the league, they can't be formally signed until July 9, when a league wide moratorium on roster business is lifted. Davis tweeted he had agreed to the deal shortly after the window for negotiations opened after midnight ET.

Nayo Jones describes her most recent album Nayo Jones Live at the Kerr Center, will be released this summer, as "a bold statement of creative possibilities for the 21st century" on version of some great Jazz standards. It features Dowell Davis on drums, Felix Sainz on bass, Loannisn Goudelis on piano, Kerry Campbell on Alto Saxophone and Doc Jones on Piano on a few tunes. For them to participate on a new Nayo Jones album is a little like coming full circle for her. In seeking their collaboration, Nayo shows that her desire to be at the forefront of music is one of her main goal and for the last 10 year she has put in the work to back it up.

When I met her at the ASU Kerr Center in Scottsdale AZ, she was relaxed to the point of being laid-back: all this unexpectedly changes, however, towards the end of the interview, when I ask Nayo about how’s it been after moving to New Orleans and getting a chance to tour with one of New Orleans legend Kermit Ruffins. She becomes unstoppable, running the interview over time to excitedly explain the ins and outs of living and working in a city that never stop. Live music and good musicians are everywhere including the streets. I’m living the Dream.

Global Configuration

The global configuration is where the site administrator configures things such as whether search engine friendly urls are enabled, the site meta data (descriptive text used by search engines an indexers) and other functions. For many beginning users simply leaving the settings on default is a good way to begin, although when your site is ready for the public you will want to change the meta data to match its content. Help

The banners component provides a simple way to display a rotating image in a module and, if you wish to have advertising, a way to track the number of times an image is viewed and clicked. Help

The redirect component is used to manage broken links that produce Page Not Found (404) errors. If enabled it will allow you to redirect broken links to specific pages. It can also be used to manage migration related URL changes. Help

The Joomla! content management system lets you create webpages of various types using extensions. There are 5 basic types of extensions: components, modules, templates, languages, and plugins. Your website includes the extensions you need to create a basic website in English, but thousands of additional extensions of all types are available. The Joomla!
